InVision welcomes Shawn Ryan, CPA, MBA, as the new Vice President of Finance. As our Finance Department undergoes rapid reorganization, Shawn will provide stabilizing leadership that will help us continue to reach and surpass our strategic goals.

An alumnus of Penn State University and Duquesne University—where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance, respectively—and a licensed CPA, Shawn brings more than 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting fields to InVision. Most recently, he was the Director of Finance at Merakey Allegheny Valley School.

Shawn shares a personal connection to InVision’s mission and values. A child from a big family, he spent a lot of time with his oldest cousin, who was born with intellectual disability. Not letting it limit her potential, she participated in the Special Olympics, competing in snow skiing. Shawn shared this hobby with her and served as her coach.

In his spare time, Shawn volunteers as the treasurer of a youth lacrosse league. He and his wife, Stacey, currently live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, and they have three children: Allison, a nurse; Katelyn, a student at Duquesne University; and Shawn, a student at Baldwin High School.

Shawn looks forward to working with and learning from the Finance Department so he is well-positioned to begin supporting their current and future needs while helping them navigate their period of transition.
