Staff Spotlight: Charlotte Goebel
Charlotte works in InVision's Finance Department and has a hand in managing many aspects of InVision's finances.
What’s your name?
What is your role at InVision?
I am the Accounts Payable Senior Analyst in the Finance Department. My primary responsibility is to make sure all of the bills for our corporate offices and our residents are paid every month in a timely manner. I fund the debit cards for resident and supervisor expenses, and I manage our corporate credit card process. I also reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts for our financial reporting system.
How long have you worked at InVision?
I came on as a temp in August 2019 and was hired full-time by InVision in February 2020.
What do you like most about working with InVision?
Actually, two things stand out about InVision. I'm impressed by the purpose with which we serve our residents and I love the Finance team! I think our group embodies the essence of teamwork, working together every day to keep the finances of this company flowing as smoothly and accurately as possible.
What are you most proud of as a professional?
I have a reputation for being dedicated to my employer and carrying out my responsibilities with integrity.
When you’re not working, what do you usually do?
You can usually find me either in the kitchen, preparing meals with my husband for our friends, or relaxing with a good book. We also enjoy wine tastings and day trips.
If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
As a bit of a foodie, that’s really hard! Can I generalize and say seafood? Or maybe cheese. And don’t forget chocolate! (Did I say this is hard?)
What might someone be surprised to learn about you?
I have a pretty quick sense of humor, especially for an accountant. I’m not nearly as boring as my profession might indicate [laughs].
